Can taking berberine upset my stomach?
Berberine is regarded as a safe medicinal plant supplement. However, some individuals may experience initial gastrointestinal side effects when starting berberine. If you have a sensitive stomach or are prone to such side effects, we recommend beginning with 1 capsule twice daily with food.
